ST. ANTHONY GIRLS PLAY FOR CHAMPIONSHIP
Recently, the St. Anthony 5/6B girls basketball team played in the post season championship game against St. Michael Greenfield. This team started playing as 4th graders and have been coached by Bill Davis all 3 years. They finished the regular season 4&3. They played 4 tournament games to get to the championship, winning by small margins each time. This great group of hardworking Spartans lost the championship game 18-16. The runner up trophy marks the school’s first trip to a tournament championship game. We are so proud of these girls and their families who have been so dedicated to Coach Davis and the girls’ basketball program.

NDAA SCHOOL NEWS
The IUPUI Men’s Basketball Team welcomed Holy Angels 4th-6th grade scholars to their home opener on Monday, November 11th at Indiana Farmers Coliseum to sing the National Anthem. After the performance, teachers, families and friends cheered on the Jags as they defeated the Anderson University Ravens for an in-state match up. What a great experience for out scholars.
St. Philip Neri
Sr. Loretto Emenogu from the Archdiocesan Missions Office visited St. Philip Neri on November 15. She shared her inspirational vocation story with our students. Her positive energy, loving spirit, and commitment to Christ was felt throughout the building.
Holy Cross Central School celebrated Thanksgiving with a family-style turkey feast! Fr Dufresne led the blessing and enjoyed visiting with the students. Our students enjoyed the meal, decorations and eating as a whole school. Thank you to our wonderful cafeteria staff and parent volunteers who made this possible!
St. Anthony students have been focusing on the value of “Serve” the month of November. Fifth grade students have been giving up their recess time to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for those who stand in line at the Food Pantry on campus. Students took the sandwiches over to the pantry and offered them to people who were waiting for the pantry to open. The heels of the bread loaves were left for the birds in the park across the street. The Student Council also sponsored a pantry collection for specific food and hygiene items from each classroom.
Central Catholic recently held it's fall family math night. Over 125 families attended this great event which featured fun math games for all ages. Coats for Kids from the local Knights of Columbus and free flu shots from our partners at Ascension St. Vincent were also available. We were able to vaccinate over 50 children and gave away 84 coats due to our generous sponsors.
