The Mother Theodore Catholic Academies (MTCA) is pleased to announce Ronda Swartz as the Executive Director of the MTCA beginning on July 1, 2022. She comes to us from Immaculate Heart of Mary School (IHM) in Indianapolis, where she has served as principal since 2014, and led the school to receive the National Blue-Ribbon School of Excellence Award in 2019.
Swartz served as the Assistant Principal at IHM from 2008-2013. She then was principal at St. Christopher Catholic School for the 2013-2014 school year. Before joining the Archdiocese of Indianapolis Office of Catholic Schools, Ronda taught and was a literacy coach at Decatur Middle School in Indianapolis from 2000-2008.
Ronda and her husband Pete are members of St. Jude Parish in Indianapolis, their son Luke is a junior at Roncalli High School, also in Indianapolis, and their daughter Lucy is in 6th grade at St. Jude School. The family enjoys spending time watching various sports.

Superintendent of Catholic Schools, Dr. Brian Disney states, “In our search for the Executive Director for MTCA, we looked for a leader strong in faith, and passionate about leading MTCA in achieving the mission to teach, serve, and form students in the Catholic faith.”
Ronda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary English from Indiana University, and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership in 2005, also from Indiana University.
