One goal at Central Catholic this year is for students to identify as writers. Ms. Diana Eutsey, the incredible 4th-grade teacher, has been working with students on "writing to publish" for several months. To showcase their new writing skills, here is what some of the students wrote about why they love Central Catholic School.
"What I love about Central Catholic School are our goals and my teacher. Our goals are to go to college and reach Heaven. I love our goals because I want to go to college when I get older to become a teacher. I want to become a teacher to teach kids how to go to college and Heaven as my teacher does for me. My teacher has taught me so much. I want to be just like her. She has motivated me to do what I love, and I have improved because of what she has shown me. For instance, I went up 22 points on the winter NWEA reading test. I hope I get to be just like her when I get older."

"What I like best about Central Catholic School is the effort students put in to grow in math, writing, and reading. Because of the testing season, there have been all types of growth. On our winter NWEA test, our class grew by 1 point up to 25 points. Our class has even put up a poster showing all our growth! This is why I love my school. It is amazing in all types of ways! But this stood out to me."

"What is best about Central Catholic School is the teachers. I believe that the teachers at Central Catholic school are wonderful. To begin with, the teachers are helpful, kind, and hilarious. They help you when you don't understand something. For example, they give you tutoring at recess if you really need help. I love learning because of them. They make learning fun. I feel that students show growth by working hard in their studies. For instance, our scores showed growth in the winter NWEA reading, language usage, and math tests! If we work hard in our studies, we go to college to have our dream careers, such as a doctor, teacher, engineer, or some other career."
